Disable the Online Help for MS Office


Open a Microsoft Office program and allow the main page to fully load. Select the "Help" tab from the top of the screen. Click the "Microsoft Program Name Help" from the available options.

Select the "Online Content Settings" from the "See Also" menu.

Click the check box next to the "Show Microsoft Office Online featured links" on the next screen to make the check box empty (the box will be checked off when the page loads). You will find this option under the box marked "Service Options." Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window to save the settings.

Find Windows Registration Number Online ?

Your Microsoft serial or registration number is the unique number given to you when you've purchased the Microsoft product. Serial numbers are needed to help install the Microsoft product on your computer. Without it, you may not be able to install it. There are some resources at your disposal to help you identify the serial or registration number.


Go to your computer and click "Start" and select "Run" to look for your computer serial number. Enter "wmic bios get serialnumber."

Go online and type in the Web browser of the Microsoft product that you purchased. You may be able to locate your serial number by emailing the company or you may have to contact them by telephone. You can find the telephone number by searching the website.
Go to Microsoft Support (see Resources) and choose the online contact method that you want to use to obtain your serial number. You can choose to email, chat with a support representative in real time or call directly.
